Biographie
Daniel Rosenfeld (Buenos Aires) , director , awarded as New Director at Venice Official Competition, is also co-producer of his films and several projects. For several years, before directing, he took piano composition classes but ended up making films. Mass Media graduated, studied editing with Miguel Perez, staging with Augusto Fernandes, acting with Julio Chavez, and took seminars with Krysztof Kieslowsky, Stephen Frears, Jorge Goldenberg, Lita Stantic, Ken Adam, Alessandro Baricco, Antonhy Mingella and Abbas Kiarostami. Before directing films, he worked on several full-length films as Alejandro Agresti's assistant director (Buenos Aires Viceversa, Wind with the Gone, La Cruz -scrip stage-) . He directed awarded feature films (Documentaries and fiction). Talented cast collaborates in his projects, like Leonardo Sbaraglia, ,Nahuel Perez Biscayart, Mercedes Morán, Rafael Spregelburd, Oscar Martinez, Martina Garello, Irene Jacob. His Films have been premiered at Berlinale, Venice Oficial Competition, Idfa, San Sebastian, Karlovy Vary, FidMarseille, Vision Du reel, , Rotterdam, MOMA, Center Popmidou, etc. He co produced as Daniel Rosenfeld films (then named rosinante films) 14 titles with France, Denmark, Spain, Netherlands, Japan, Germany. On 2021 received the Konex award as best director of the decade in documentaries in Argentina, this award match with the premiere of his last documentary directed "Piazzolla, the years of the shark", co produced with ARTE France,
