Beyond the archway you discover a long ramp. It descends to the floor of a huge chamber, recently constructed, which is filled with oppressive heat and noise. More than a dozen passages lead away from this domed hall and most are illuminated by the fearsome orange glow of furnace fires. Your Kai senses tell you that these passages lead to Vandyan’s armouries that are situated on the east side of Skull-Tor. As you are looking along these glowing tunnels, you notice that there is only one that is not illuminated by fire. It is cool and dark and, unlike all the others, it leads off towards the north.
