Cautiously you enter the mine shaft and follow the footprints in the dirt of the tunnel floor. You have descended a few hundred yards along the shaft when suddenly you hear the sound of distant voices. When you stop to listen, you quickly determine that they are the voices of three Eldenoran soldiers. From snatches of their furtive conversation you learn that these men are renegades from Vandyan’s army encamped at Tekaro.

If you wish to abandon further exploration of this mine shaft and return at once to the surface, go to 85.
