You steer the boat towards the left bank and feel the keel shudder when it runs aground upon the muddy shore. Another shrill whistle signals to the Vorka and you see them go scurrying back towards the bridge. Using your Kai camouflage skills you are able to slip away from the boat and take cover in the trees unseen. As you lie in the undergrowth, you watch the Vorka cross the bridge and come loping along the river bank towards your boat. Their eyes glow eerily in the moonlit darkness, and the sight of their glinting fangs sends a chill shiver down your spine. Your Kai senses warn you that these ancient predators are excellent hunters and they possess a keen sense of smell.
