Bonjour à tous, et mille mercis aux traducteurs de Celestia !
Je suis professeur en primaire, et utilisait Celestia en classe de CM2 pour le système solaire, mais frustré de devoir utiliser une version anglaise peu pratique pour des enfants de 10/11 ans...
Je viens de tester et c'est génial !
Me viennent 2 questions :
- peut-on redistribuer une version de Celestia directement francisée ([mode vie /on] je distribue un cd de logiciels libres à chaque élève, et appliquer un patch, même avec une aide visuelle, ça va être limite... donc si l'on peut directement franciser le logiciel et le mettre sur CD, c'est très très bien [mode vie /off])
- sous quelle licence se trouve le patch ? Parce que, pour des raisons bassement administratives, je préfererais n'inclure que du logiciel libre sur le CD
- libre ou pas, ai-je l'autorisation de diffuser ce merveilleux patch autour de moi ?

J'espère que tu n'auras pas de problème à retrouver ton message, puisque je l'ai séparé du sujet où tu l'avais mis. C'est pas tellement qu'il n'était pas à sa place, mais c'est plutôt que le sujet est très important et risque de revenir de manière récurrente.

Celestia est sous licence GNU General Public License, ce qui signifie, je cite :

Le programme est donc gratuit, mais sans aucune garantie. On est pas beaucoup plus avancés. Il faut aller jeter un coup d'oeil sur la version de base GNU General Public License:

Gratuité, et les modifications sont autorisées.

Théoriquement, il faudrait ajouter ça :

Mais Chris (le développeur principal de Celestia) s'en est toujours un peu foutu. Et qui plus est, dans le cadre d'un programme scolaire, Chris serait suffisamment heureux de savoir que son programme est utile à des petites têtes blondes. Il y a déjà eu de nombreux précédents pédagogiques.

Toutes tes créations seront par ailleurs soumises aux mêmes gauches d'auteur. Cette gauche d'auteur est le coeur de l'effet boule-de-neige des licences GNU, et explique pourquoi cela fonctionne si bien.

Celestia 1.5, GeForce 7300 GS, drivers Nvidia 177.82, sous Ubuntu 8.10. Sur GNU/Linux, c'est 'achement plus rapide.
