Bien que restant autoritaire, liberticide et pollueuse, la Chine a abandonn\u00e9 officiellement ses restes de communisme; l’Empire du Milieu a adopt\u00e9 \u00e0 une majorit\u00e9 \u00e9crasante<\/a> dans la journ\u00e9e du 16 mars 2007 une loi sur la propri\u00e9t\u00e9 priv\u00e9, mettant celle-ci \u00e0 \u00e9galit\u00e9 avec la propri\u00e9t\u00e9 publique. En d’autres termes, les biens priv\u00e9s sont aujourd’hui aussi importants que les biens publics dans un pays qui n’a d\u00e9cid\u00e9ment plus grand chose \u00e0 voir avec le pays du Grand Timonier.<\/p>\n

Les propos que tiennent les hauts responsables politiques auraient \u00e9t\u00e9 impensables il n’y a ne serait-ce qu’une d\u00e9cennie : \u00ab\u00a0[les gens] r\u00e9clament de fa\u00e7on urgente une protection efficace de leur propre propri\u00e9t\u00e9 l\u00e9gale acquise avec un dur labeur,\u00a0\u00bb a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Wang Zhaoguo, pr\u00e9sident adjoint de l’Assembl\u00e9e Populaire Nationale, lors de la pr\u00e9sentation de son dernier projet de la mesure au pouvoir l\u00e9gislatif. La dur labeur \u00e9tait autrefois au service du peuple, et non pas de l’individu; le glissement id\u00e9ologique et philosophie est gigantesque.<\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s 60 ans de dictature communiste, le pays a abandonn\u00e9 le communisme, mais reste une dictature un peu \u00e9trange, difficile \u00e0 comparer \u00e0 un autre mod\u00e8le politique. Dans le domaine \u00e9conomique, voil\u00e0 qui confirme que la voie des r\u00e9formes entreprises par Deng Xiaoping il y a presque trente ans n’avait d’autre but que le capitalisme; difficile de croire encore, a fortiori apr\u00e8s le vote d’hier, que la Chine est autre chose qu’une \u00e9conomie capitaliste.<\/p>\n
